Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer who wants to join a small, agile team developing a platform for smart energy management in homes. The focus is on optimizing energy usage through intelligent control of heating and electric vehicle charging, aiming to create lower costs for users and a more sustainable energy system.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for test strategy, test planning, and test automation in close collaboration with the development team.
• Develop and maintain automated tests with a clear focus on quality, stability, and test coverage.
• Conduct and further develop E2E tests, API tests, and web flow tests in a cloud environment.
• Drive security and performance testing and contribute to continuous improvements in the development process.
• Analyze, document, and report test results and follow up on deviations.
• Work in sprints in an agile manner and contribute to an efficient delivery pipeline via CI/CD.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in test automation.
• Experience with E2E testing, API testing, and web testing in a cloud environment.
• Good familiarity with agile methodologies and working with CI/CD.
• Experience with tools and technologies such as:
• Jira, Confluence
• Docker
• Git and GitHub Actions
• Playwright and/or Appium
• Postman
• Cucumber/Gherkin
• Good communication skills and fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience related to energy systems, smart charging, or electric vehicles.
• Knowledge of Pulsar, NATS, MQTT, OCPP.
• Programming in Kotlin or Python.
• Basic knowledge of AWS.

• Duration: 6 months (2026-02-02 to 2026-07-31)

Location

• Stockholm (hybrid, 2–3 days/week on-site)
